TulsaMusicScene.com shall be referred to as the website or just site. All those parties who use this website will be referred to as visitors or users. All those visitors who have accounts on this website may be referred to as account holders.
All the following Terms of Usage are subject to change without notice. Any posts found on this website that violate the terms below will be removed from the website without notice the to author of the post.
1 TulsaMusicScene.com
1.1 Slander - There will be absolutely zero tolerance for slander of any kind on this website.
1.2 Empty Accusation - Constructive criticism is permitted, however empty accusations are will not be considered as criticism, but as slander.
Therefore, it is considered slanderous to accuse a party of any wrong-doing with lack of explanation as to why one is making the accusations.
So if one plans on using the website to criticize or accuse, they must eloborate. Adequate explanation must be provided to make their criticism or accusation constructive.
1.3 Language - Swearing is not permitted on this website. All posts containing swear words will be removed without notice to the person who made the post.
This is also do to the fact that the company responsible for hosting this site does not allow adult content in their terms of usage.
1.4 Impersonation - Any posts made to look like they were written by anyone other than the actual author will not be permitted on this website.
1.5 Information Accuracy - Any false information, intentional or otherwise, is not permitted. This not only includes malicious intent to mislead, but also misunderstandings, or misassumptions.
1.6 Relevance - All postings must be relevant to the area of the website in which it is posted. Irrelavent postings (i.e. using the guestbook advertise your guitar for sale, or promoting your band's performances in the "for sale" section of the classifieds.) are not permitted.
This is to insure the integrity of various areas of the website, so visitors do not have to sort through irrelevant garbage postings to find what they are looking for.
1.7 Respect - All postings must be with respect to TulsaMusicScene.com. Postings intended to drive readers away from the website or to take business from the website are not permitted.
2 Bulletin Board
2.1 Personal Messages - Bulletins containing a message intended one person or for a small, specific audience are not permitted.
Bulletins should all be intended for the general audience. You may not use the Bulletin Board to communicate personal messages to specific individuals. That is what e-mail is for.
2.2 Anonymous Posting - Although posting bulletins anonymously is permitted, it is highly discouraged. Posting anonymously gives the author of the bulletin no credibility whatsoever.
Let it also be known that Webmaster will be more critical when judging whether or not an anonymous posting follows these terms of usage.
2.3 Message - All bulletins must have a message to convey. Any bulletin that are just a meaningless rant without a main message or topic are not permitted. Such bulletins are just a waste of space on the server.
2.4 Feedback - The Bulletin board is NOT a question & answer forum. Any bulletins that request feedback or replies to be posted on the board are not allowed. Those types of postings should be posted in a blog, NOT the bulletin board.
It is suggested that if you want to recieve replies to your bulletin then leave an email address or phone number where readers may contact you.
3 Webshop
3.1 Appropriate Items - All items for sale through the webshop must be merchandise relevant toward the account holder's music.
Personal items (i.e. used equipment, cars, etc.) should be posted in the Classifieds section of this website, not the webshop.
4 Uploaded Files
4.1 Content - Any uploaded files (i.e. images, soundbytes) must be or G-rated content. Any explicit. offensive, or objectionable content will be deleted without notice to the person who uploaded the files.
Depending on how offensive the uploaded files are, user account may be terminated.
4.2 Relevance - Any uploaded files must be relevant to the account holder's musical profile. For example, a band profile should not have any uploaded images that are not images of the band, band members, band name, band logo, band symbols, album cover, etc.
